By using long flowing strokes, Swedish Massage relaxes muscles and improves circulation throughout the body.
Deep Tissue Massage
A variety of therapeutic techniques are used to release chronic tension, relieve pain and ease muscle fatigue. It is effective in opening musculature, restoring elasticity and releasing toxins. Works best for target areas.
Myofascial Release Treatment
Using light to moderate traction and twisting strokes to apply the appropriate tension on the soft tissue and to achieve a full reflex range of the muscle. Clients often rave about total release of body tension they experience.
Sports massage emphasizes prevention and healing of injuries to the muscles and tendons and can be a great benefit before or after a specific athletic event. But you don’t have to be an athlete for this technique to be helpful. Anyone with chronic pain, injury or range of motion issue will benefit.
Prenatal massage soothes nerves and relieves strained back and leg muscles and helps to stimulate soft tissue to reduce edema or swelling of the joints during pregnancy. Pregnancy massage is especially beneficial in the second and third trimesters when the extra weight can put a strain on your low back, sciatic nerve and legs. Your therapist will make sure your body gets the cushioning and support it needs using pillows and special bolstering techniques. Your therapist will address specific pregnancy needs and is trained to be aware of sensitive pressure points on the body.
Enjoy a 30-minute table stretching session by itself or in combination with a massage. A session utilizes techniques such as active stretching, passive stretching and reciprocal inhibition stretching to release and relax tight muscles. Clients should wear flexible clothing to the session.
Cupping Therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine. Special cups are put on your skin for a few minutes to create suction to help decrease pain, decrease inflammation, promote blood flow, eliminate toxins, loosen stiff muscles, and much more. Cupping can leave circular bruise like marks that will fade away in hours to several days later.
