Let go of perfect
Who has heard the warning to not let “perfect be the enemy of good?”
Excellent. Hands down.
How many recognize themselves in that phrase?
A few of you!
Pursuit of a perfect ideal can rob the joy from real achievements that may fall short of that mark, or, conversely, can make it impossible to even begin a new endeavor for fear of not being able to “nail it.”
Whether in work, family life or your fitness program, letting go of “perfect” is liberating. But, while it’s easy to agree, it can be hard to do.
