Aquatics - Water Aerobics Class Descriptions

Unless otherwise stated, classes are held in the warm water, therapy pool.

Aquablast- This advanced, high energy class is designed for those who like a variety of cardiovascular, muscular, endurance and flexibility training while listening to great music of the 60's, 70's 80's, rock n' roll, disco and hip hop. This class will help increase strength, balance, power and range of motion. A tai chi cool down is also incorporated in this class.

Aqua Bootcamp - This very intense class is designed for those who wish to obtain a full cardiovascular workout, while using the natural resistance of the water to help increase strength, power, endurance, and range of motion. Held in the Lap Pool.

Aqua Madness– A fun and fast moving class that goes to the beat of the music. The music is upbeat and gets your body and mind moving. Through this great workout, you will work on your cardiovascular fitness, coordination, flexibility and range of motion.

Aquasize - Aquasize provides a low-intensity, low-impact workout with a number of different movements aimed at increasing flexibility, strength, and cardiovascular ability.

Core Blitz-Invigorating continuous movement in the shallow water for all ages. Water resistance provides low impact exercise activating all muscle groups, increasing range of motion, calorie and fat burning and improving strength. It is not necessary to get the face or hair wet (or to know how to swim).

Double Bubble- Experience the calorie burn and unleash endorphin's. Make it a habit to benefit your heart, tone, and stretch your body. You are never late nor early, arrive precisely when you mean to. At 4:55 we have a 5 minute break. You may participate in either the first 45 minutes or the second 45 minutes, cross over between both or do the Double Bubble.


Intermediate Aquasize - This class varies in intensity levels to increase endurance, as well as power, strength and cardiovascular ability.

Therapeutic Fitness - This zero-impact, low-intensity class is designed to alleviate the pain and stiffness associated with arthritis, fibromyalgia, and other related diseases. You will be instructed through exercises to encourage and promote flexibility, range of motion, and pain relief.
