Aquatics - Water Aerobics Class Descriptions
Aquasize - provides a low-intensity, low-impact workout with a number of different movements aimed at increasing flexibility, strength and cardiovascular fitness.
Intermediate Aquasize - varies in intensity levels to increase endurance, as well as power, strength and cardiovascular fitness.
Therapeutic Fitness - a low-intensity class designed to alleviate the pain and stiffness associated with arthritis, fibromyalgia and other related diseases. You will be instructed through exercises to encourage and promote flexibility, range of motion and pain relief.
Aqua Bootcamp - a high-intensity class designed for those who wish to obtain a full cardiovascular workout, while using the natural resistance of the water to help increase your strength, power, endurance and range of motion.
Rip Tide - an advanced-high energy class designed to offer a variety of cardiovascular and muscular endurance exercises, as well as flexibility training. You will be motivated by music of different genres to get the blood pumping and keep the body moving. This class will help increase strength, balance, power and range of motion.
Aqua Attack - a high-energy, powerful and uplifting class is a fun and effective way to burn calories and build muscles. With a combination of tae box, tai chi, karate and kick boxing, this high-intensity class is great for cardiovascular fitness, coordination, muscle control and flexibility. All levels are welcome!
Aqua Madness - a fun and fast-moving class that goes to the "up" beat of the music to get body and mind moving. Through this great workout, you will work on cardiovascular fitness, coordination, flexibility and range of motion.
The Plunge - plunge into the week with this Monday afternoon blend of cardio and resistance training using buoyant weights, balls, boards and noodles. It is for every age and fitness level.
